Welcome to BNI Louisiana!
Now, more than ever, business people need to network to stay in business. BNI is the largest business networking organization in the world and provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment. We offer members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals.
BNI is a business and professional referral organization that allows only one person from each profession to join a chapter. Last year alone, BNI generated 5.4 million referrals resulting in 6.5 billion dollars worth of business for its members!
Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you because all the other members carry several copies of your business cards around with them. When they meet someone who could use your products or services they hand your card out and recommend your services. It's as simple as that!

Baton Rouge's YES! Chapter
After an enthusiastic launch in 2010, followed by energetic growth, the YES! Chapter of BNI was considered a solid chapter. By 2013 it was in decline. Rapidly losing members, it seemed doomed. In October of 2013, a meeting was called to discuss closure. It was pointed out that the meetings had become painfully dull. Of the 8 members attending, 7 were strongly committed to regrowth and the process began. One thing they did that was very effective was to create a welcoming atmosphere. Another, was to ask strong members of other BNI groups to help them rebuild. These members came and brought their smiles, their energy, and their love of BNI. After just 3 meetings, applications were rolling in. In just 8 months, under the leadership of founder Mary Bellanger, the chapter was at 30. Today the focus continues to be on growth, and every member understands the importance of inviting and welcoming visitors; and that you can never, ever stop growing. Under the current guidance of Director Consultant Cami Miller, Area Director Consultant Josh Henderson, President Brandon Simmons, Vice President Carolyn Baye, and Secretary/Treasurer Laquica Fisher, the YES! chapter meets Wednesday mornings at Dale Carnegie Training.
